Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is an association of practising Catholics, sanctioned by the Church and established on 7th September, 1921 by Servant of God, Frank Duff in Dublin, Ireland to perpetuate the Catholic Church’s Evangelizing Mission.

The Legion of Mary was formed to be a sign of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s maternal love for the world and a means of enlisting all her children in the Church’s evangelizing work.
