St. Matthew Society

SMAS is one of the branches of the Holy Family Akan Kuo which was outdoored by the Emeritus Archbishop of Accra, the late Archbishop Dominic K. Andoh in 1978 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Its main aim is the upliftment of the Catholic faith and doctrine among its members by way of lectures, seminars, retreats and praying together in Akan at Our Lady of Fatima.

Our objectives are :
1. Expression of love among its members;
2. Celebration of its patron, St. Matthew, Feast Day on 21st September every year;
3. Good deeds through charity works to hospitals, orphanages, street children, beggars and needy persons, widows and widowers.
4. Networking among members
by way of visits, funerals etc;
5. Social programmes, get togethers, birthdays, end of year activities.
