SUNDAY SCHOOL

Christ the King Children’s Service (Sunday School) was established mainly to fulfill this mandate. The liturgy for the day is explained to the children at their level. After Mass the celebrant for the youth Mass is expected to come over to the classroom to bless the children. The Children’s Service was started in the 1980’s in the Parish Hall by the Charismatic Renewal. It evolved into the Youth Mass under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Wels.  In 1998, the Children’s Service as we have it now was started with the guidance of Rev. Fr. Edmund Neizer. The Christ the King Children’s Service (Sunday School) handles Children between the ages of 2 – 10 years old. The children who attend this service are non-communicants who have not started Catechism classes.
